This explains what HousinGram keeps about you, why, who else sees it, and how to get it back or delete it.
What we keep
Your account: your name and email, from Google or the email you sign in with.
Your family, if you add it: first names, age bands, and the places each person goes (for example an office or school), with how often and how. We use these to work out travel times.
What you save and say: saved projects and your reactions to them, watched searches, alerts, your searches, and your questions to the chat with its answers.
What you do on the site: which projects you are shown, open, save, compare or ask about, and the filters you use — never what you type — with a random id for this browser session, so the team can see what helps people and what doesn’t (it never changes a score); it is deleted with your account, and Do Not Track or the switch below turns it off.
Requests you send: when you ask to be contacted about a project, the details you chose to share.
For agencies and developers: your organisation, listings, the leads you receive, and call notes. With masked calling switched on, call recordings are transcribed to make those notes.
What we share, and with whom
Agencies and developers see a request only when you send one, and only the fields you ticked. Your other saved projects and your family details are never shared.
People you invite to your family see and add to the same list.
Services that do work for us: OpenAI (reading public pages, answering chat questions; the chat receives the preferences you set), Tavily (web search for public records), Google Maps Platform (places, photos, travel times; it receives the coordinates of your family’s places to compute routes), OpenStreetMap services, and India Post (PIN code areas). If they are switched on: Sarvam (translation and speech), Deepgram and Exotel (calls and transcripts), Cashfree (payments; it receives the mobile number you give when subscribing), Resend (email) and Meta (a builder’s own Instagram posts).
Hosting: our servers and database run on Render, in Singapore.
We do not sell your data, and we do not show you advertising.
Public information about projects and builders
The research on HousinGram comes from public sources: regulator records, court and consumer-forum orders, news and public reviews. Every finding shows where it came from. If something about you or your company is wrong, write to us and we will check the source.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Error reports are kept without personal details: we remove emails, phone numbers and keys before storing them.
Delete your account from the same page. A family you share stays with the other person; agencies you contacted keep the request without your name, number or anything you shared.
Change or remove your family details at any time on Family & places.
